Get Location-Based Reminders and Stay Organized

How often do you forget to iron the clothing? Headed for the airport to catch an international flight only to realize that you have left your passport back home? Or you have too much insignificant small tasks for the day, but constantly forget about them?
Well, yeah, many of us face this problem of being forgetful and a bit clumsy with their time-management. Therefore, I kindly recommend you to set up a location based reminder on your smartphone.

For those who are new to the world of location based reminders, this sweet app offers you the opportunity to notify you when you are in a particular place and the task than can be accomplished for that place. For example, if you set a reminder "Get analgesic" the very next time you pass near a pharmacy you will receive a notification.

Why are they better than the time based reminders, you must be asking yourself. I would be really happy to answer that.

It is never the best option to set a time reminder, as many things can come across your day and prevent you from completing an activity at a specific time, which by all means is lost of time. That reminder will be either dismissed or forgotten and nothing has been achieved.

On the other hand, setting a location based reminder offers you a way more perspective horizon of using your time the smart way. Instead of visiting several places, you may be surprise that you could have finished not only one task at one place but few!

The location based reminders keep an eye on your GPS information in order to remind you at the right place. And some apps, offer their user to specify the edge of geo-fences i.d. the radius or how far you want to be in order for the app to alert you. For example, with MarkO  you can set the notification radius.

They can provide you with a grocery list that pop up when to the store, or with a chore list that pop up when you get home. They won`t fail you, unless you turn off the network or GPS service. :)

The negative side of location based reminders is that they require leaving the GPS service turned on which drains the battery life faster than if it would be off.

Yet, this is a fair trade since it will save time, nerves and the most important thing - reduce your forgetful moments. Give them a shot!
