Everybody knows how a typical task manager works – you create a list, set specific times for each task, and wait for an annoying alarm to start ringing to remind you to buy groceries for example, than you turn it off, realize your day is not going as planned, you have to stay at work late, and say to you self – I can finish this latter. Than you go to the supermarket to buy some paper towels and hand soap because your office run out, and get back to the office, and back to your work. And suddenly you realize, you could have done your grocery shopping just now, and you forgot….
Enter MarkO!
When you create a task list with MarkO – let’s take the previous example – buy groceries, you are asked to enter the location where you can complete the task – it can be as broad as ‘supermarket’ or as specific as naming your local grocery store. This means that MarkO will remind you of your task, not just because it is 5pm and you supposedly going home and can and should get groceries, but next time you are getting close to your task’s location – the supermarket!
